Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Echocardiographic Technologist to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing echocardiographic and non-invasive cardiologic examination services to patients of all ages.Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner, adhering to established operating procedures.
• Perform and process M-Mode, Two-dimensional, Color Flow, and Doppler Echocardiograms, as well as assist with Transesophageal Echocardiograms.
• Maintain, compile, calculate, and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving.
• Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members regarding findings, patient histories, and test results.
• Collaborate with colleagues and members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Adult Echocardiography preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health science, natural science, nursing, or related field, or equivalent college hours.
  • Current Ultrasound registry required; registry required within one year of hire date with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) or The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS).
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.About UsHCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is a 350-bed facility offering a range of services, including a Primary Stroke Center certified by The Joint Commission.
