• Basic English language communications required.
• Excellent customer services skills.
• Basic Computer Skills required.
• Physical role requiring repetitive heavy lifting items weighing up to 25+ pounds, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and kneeling.
• Requires full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Thorough knowledge and work experience in fitting, altering, and repairing uniforms and linens and operating sewing machines.Responsibilities:
  • Alters and repairs linens, uniforms, curtains, drapes, bedspreads, and pillows.
  • Repairs garments delivered by Laundry (example: replaces missing button on shirt).
  • Unpacks new uniforms and inspects them for quality and size.
  • Maintains employee records regarding number of uniforms issued, size, repairs completed, etc.
  • Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
