IntroductionWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting with cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures. You will work closely with our team of invasive cardiologists and radiologists to provide high-quality patient care.Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including data collection and documentation of patient information.
• Participate in vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, including emergency procedures associated with catheterization.
• Follow established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
• Document findings and reports abnormal or out-of-range results to the physician.Requirements
  • High school or GED required.
  • LPN one year experience with Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
